They're not in any order of genre, preference, or anything like that.)
I think Gina's work in general is pretty sweet. I especially like her drawings that feature the male form. Her character Norman is fascinating - a fiendishly punk guy, with what seems to be a soft side. (And in one pic, his face even reminds me a teeny, tiny bit of me - sorta, maybe. lol)
Gina's developing a very particular artistic style that I think expresses her point of view quite well. It's dark of course, but there is a certain sensuality there that adds so much more.
Andreas actually found me first, but his gallery was a very nice surprise! He experiments with a wide range of photography, including conceptual pieces, portraiture, and also journalistic work.
I originally discovered this deviant because of his work with male nudes, as that is an area I am trying to explore further (both as an artist and in terms of self-discovery). His nudes were great, but it's been great to see him branch out from that and come up with some really great, diverse images too.
What can I say about this guy? I love his work and he knows it. Seriously, it is nearly impossible for me to pick three favourites by him. I have faved many of his pieces, and that's not even counting the stuff he's deleted from his gallery that I had faved before!
I absolutely love his point of view. His style and expression is something that connects with a part of my soul in a very deep way. I even think I connect with some of his sources of inspiration. Watching his work has helped remind me to make an effort to push myself beyond some of my own comfort zones, especially in terms of my own portraits. So for that and for your great work, I thank you.
I believe this deviant found me through a group we're both members of. I'm not too familiar with his work, but he certainly has some nice stuff.
I don't remember when I came across Dewi. Perhaps it was by accident, but it's always great to see someone working with more traditional art. I love the surreal quality of his drawings and I also really enjoy the way he uses colour. Some of his pieces are works in progress, but the quality is still quite evident.
A sweet kid whose been watching and commenting on my work for some time now, this deviant has also been fun for me to check out from time to time. She's definitely beginning to grow in terms of both her photography and her drawings. It will be great fun to continue to watch this young artist mature.
Katie's got some really stellar cat photography that goes far beyond just capturing shots of her gorgeous kitty. She manages to not only capture the cat's personality, but really does bring her own vision into each piece. And that vision just as easily extends into her other work too!
Jared's this cool guy who I seem to chat with in really random bursts on dA and maybe now on facebook, where he broods.

His work is pretty good. It's quite varied in terms of media, but there is a definite personal style developing for sure that you can see in all of his pieces. Looking forward to seeing where he takes it. Now we just need to get him a good camera, tripod, and scanner!
She's a brand new deviant to my watch list, but before I talk about her art... I just want to say that I think her spirit is great. A long-time member of dA, she seems to go out of her way to feature other deviants and really help to make dA what it probably should be - a community where artists can showcase their work and support each other. And of course, her work's good too.
Anna's a dear, dear friend of mine from long before I even knew about dA. Though she only recently joined dA and started to work on her art again, I think she's already starting to show some real quality work. It's been... No. It is a great joy being able to chat with her about art and our own artistic ideas, while we support and watch each other grow as artists, as human beings, and as friends.
Thank you!
To anyone viewing this journal: thanks for taking the time to check all of these deviants out.
To the deviants featured: thanks for continuing to share your art and your creative vision with us.

the chain thing? basically you just put up a journal entry that says you'll feature three pieces from the first 10 (or whatever number you like) people who comment in that journal. and then you choose teh three pieces and feature them in your journal
